Meet & Greet The goal of this meeting is for the client and pet (s) to meet their sitter. During this time, we will discuss your pet(s) routines and complete the client contract. This initial consultation is complimentary. The sitter will also acquire a key or keycode to your residence at this time.
Payment New clients should make 50% payment 2 weeks prior to the start of service, and the remaining 50% balance 1 week prior to the start of service. Established clients may pay anytime before the start of service. Billing will be done via PayPal, however, if you wish to use another payment method that can also be arranged. Checks should be made out to "Pawsitive Petsitting of Truckee" and mailed to 12560 Rainbow Dr. Truckee, Ca. 96161. If you are satisfied with our service, you may arrange with your petsitter to leave a tip.
Cancellations To avoid cancellation penalties, please cancel your reservation within 1 week of the start of service (and within 2 weeks during holiday periods. e.g. Ski/Skate week, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). Failure to cancel within these guidelines will result in a 50% charge of the original fee.
Trespassers For the safety of your four-legged loved ones and home, no other person should be permitted in your home during the service period, unless the sitter is notified beforehand.
Minimum Visit All dogs will be visited at least every 12 hours, although we recommend at least three times a day. All cats and other pets will be visited at least once a day. This is for the safety and well-being of your pets.
